What this is

Allana collects public news headlines and shows them in one reverse chronological list, with a chat room attached to each topic. It is operated by Allana.

Content you post

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Posts containing profanity or links are refused automatically. Anything that harasses, threatens, defames, or targets a person or group, and anything sexual involving minors, is prohibited outright.

Any reader can report a message. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. Offending content is removed and the account that posted it may be barred from posting without notice or appeal.

You can block any other account. Blocking hides everything that account posts from you, takes effect immediately, and is not disclosed to them.

Your account

You may delete your account at any time from inside the app, under your username. Deletion removes your account, your topic subscriptions, your block list and your sessions immediately. Chat messages you already posted remain but are re-attributed to [deleted], so that replies to them still make sense.

Headlines

Headlines, publication names and links belong to the publishers who wrote them. Allana reproduces the headline and links to the source. It does not reproduce article text. Publishers wanting their feed removed should write to the address below and it will be removed.

No warranty

Allana is provided as is. Headlines come from third-party feeds and may be wrong, late, or missing. Do not rely on it where being wrong would cost you something.
